Transformation Story of the Week
On Tuesday, February 23, my 15 year old son Jacob and I entered Hancock Fabrics in Belton, MO. Our mission...finding material to make another 68 blankets for Project Snuggle "Take Two".
I asked Jacob to go along, I thought it would be nice to have a youthful set of eyes picking out the fabric. We spent almost 3.5 hours with Kelly and Bonnie. They provided us with the best customer service. Bonnie was actually a Foster Parent years ago. She shared how much she loved being a part of the children's lives but it was heart wrenching to see what the children go through. I really enjoyed her sharing part of her journey with me. Kelly had a bad toothache, but that didn't stop her from smiling and cutting the 1.5 yards of fabric for the project.
Life is truly about relationships! I really enjoyed hanging out with these two ladies, and my son. A BIG Thank you to Kelly and Bonnie who worked so hard that night. They are now truly a part of Project Snuggle.
Also, a Big Thank you to my son who diligently worked so hard to help pick out the material, separate into boxes by age group, and load up the big green CT van.
A night to remember! When is the last time you were able to have a conversation with someone in a retail setting? Did you share a part of your life...building a relationship. How about asking them to come to church on Sunday?
Blankets for 68 children: $1,000.00
Accessories for making blankets: $25.00
A night spent with my teenage son: PRICELESS
Cost of blankets for Project Snuggle "Take Two"
Adopt children and commit to these children throughout the cycle of their stay with Children's Services. You could also commit to prayer for your adopted children. This could be a group effort each week, this would be great for Life Groups to get involved. Imagine what the power of prayer could do for these children.

Faith In Motion - Opportunity
Open Loop #4 - Faith In Motion
LifeQuesters,
We have received an opportunity from our Social Worker, here are the details below:
There is a family in great need of necessities for their apartment. This family was evicted from their apartment last year. They now have a new apartment, but were unable to afford to keep their belongings in storage.
They need basic cleaning materials like:
Cleaning Clothes
Disinfectant
Mop
Window cleaner
Broom
Paper towels
Dust pans
Dish washing detergent
They also need living room furniture ( tv converter box, landline phone, etc.)
This apartment has tile floors throughout so they need some rugs to put throughout to keep the apartment a little warmer.
They need dressers for their clothes; they are currently using trash bags to store their clothes.
They also requested these items:
Bath towels
Wash clothes
Dishes
Utensils
Bake ware
Cookware
If you are able to participate in fulfulling this opportunity, please contact Mylissa (My) Russell at mrussell@lifequest.tv or call the office at 816.318.4673.

Project Snuggle - Blankets Delivered
Understanding the opportunity
I hope that we at LifeQuest Church have really grasped the opportunity that has been given to us. We have a harvest field placed before us. We are able to reach across government boundaries to these children and families. How awesome for us to be faithful in little, so that we can be faithful in much.
