Community Blood Drive - Collected 32 Units
Thank you for giving up 32 units of blood on Sunday, December 13.
Here's the transformation story of the week:
While I was giving blood I was thinking of the surgeries that Skip will be having this week, and knowing that he will need blood at that time. I am so grateful for the awesome family we have at LifeQuest that gave of their time and blood Sunday.
It is not just the life saving blood that will replace any that Skip will need during his surgeries; it is also symbolic of the life saving blood Jesus shed for us and the sacrifices that He made for us.
You all walked the walk Sunday, thank you LifeQuest for stepping up into the feet of Jesus.
You do make a difference in the community in which we live, work, play, and worship.
Blessings!

Community Transformation 2010
Pastor Chris Pinion spoke about his vision for Community Transformation 2010. We believe the Church is the Hope of the world! We are called to serve in everything we do, and that means reaching out to those in our community and around the world!
Treasures in Heaven
Matthew 6:19“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
You should be asking yourself, where are my treasure's stored?
LifeQuest has signed a Certificate of Intent with 9 organizations to commit 20,010 hours to serve across all partners to provide community service in 2010.
Here is a glance at our partnerships for 2010:

You may follow our progress as we count our hours of service at www.lifequestchurch.tv. To track our goals, each person who serves in a program may log hours by completing an online form located on the Outreach menu on our site.
Our Community Transformation Director, Mylissa Russell, will be happy to answer any questions. Please feel free to contact her at mrussell@lifequest.tv for additional information.
Letter of Appreciation - Heart n Hand
We at Heart-n-Hand Ministries want to thank every one of you leaders, members and volunteers who were involved in collecting food for our organization.
Your Community Transformation is an incredible opportunity to serve. Each and every one of you has contributed in assisting someone in your community with food.
Food assistance is a very helpful in supplementing the income in a family budget. Food assistance is a tool used to offset living cost to a family in need, and could result in helping them to save money to pay rent and have a warm home this cold winter.
It is servants such as yourselves who help Heart-n-Hand serve the people in need. In this time when our nation is in a campaign to help address people in need , it is comforting to know we have partners such as each one of you all who step up and help your fellow neighbor.
Thank you so very much. May the Lord bless all of you in your wonderful efforts to serve Gods people.
We will be praying for your vision and action in Community Transformation.

Tremendous Opportunity
The opportunity for us to make a difference in our community, to honor and serve those around us. I hope that you will realize that this is an opportunity and not a burden.
A good friend of mine said she asked herself at night, who's life did I impact today? Can you answer that question just for today, or did you have to think back many months? I want to make it a daily question in my life too.
Faith In Motion
Kaila, who is 18 years old was in need of furniture items for her new apartment. We were able to provide her with a few items to furnish her new pad. She now has a bed to sleep in, instead of laying on the floor. A kitchen table, microwave, dresser, and miscellaneous kitchen items. If you have additional furniture, she is still in need of a couch or chair.
For those who may not be aware, as part of our Community Transformation initiative, we have partnered with Faith in Motion. Faith in Motion is the bridge between the Jackson County Children's Division and various churches that will provide assistance for social workers, foster parents, children, and at-risk biological parents. LifeQuest Church has adopted a social worker from Jackson County Children's Services. All requests will be funneled through me, Mylissa Russell then communicated out to the church to provide for these requests.
We have received a request for uniforms for children. You may either adopt a child and go shopping or simply choose to give money towards the uniforms.
Uniform Style: Khaki pants and grey/white/navy polo shirts
M shirt 4/5 pant, adult sizes
S shirt, 4/5 pant, adult sizes
7/8 shirt, 7/8 pant, child sizes
